You Are Safe

May the good Lord bless and keep you

and fill you with his peace.

His face will shine upon you

even as you sleep.

Devotion

Are you able to do anything while you’re sleeping? Climb trees or play games or count to ten? No! When we sleep, we simply have to rest. But God tells us that even when we’re sleeping, He watches over us. We can have peace because we know that God never sleeps. He is always with us: loving us, protecting us, and keeping us safe.

What does it mean to feel peaceful? What makes you feel peaceful?

Prayer

Dear God, thank you for keeping me safe while I sleep. I can feel peaceful no matter, what because you are always with me! Amen.

Activity

Draw a picture of what it means to feel peaceful. Put it up by your bed so you can remember that God is watching over you even as you sleep.
